Should we continue with the 50% cap hit for the next season for drops after the trade deadline? Should we lower the cap hit for next year to 25%/no difference from pre-deadline?

There is no reason I can come up with to keep the hit at 50% other than to differentiate between pre and post deadline drops. It does not make sense to be charged for a player if you were not going to be paying for him anyway.
I will be voting to do away with the increased hit, if for no other reason than we don't have to be penalized the following year for replacing injured players or so on post-deadline.

I think you should not be hit for dropping a 1 year guy after deadline........personally I think its silly to have to pay a hit on a guy you drop due to injury for instance, to get a replacement for that person in playoffs, I'd like a third option in voting in to remove penalties on one year guys after deadline

Agreed with Josh. There should be no punishment for future years. Your punishment is the wasted cap space in the current year of the contract. I am voting to decrease to 25% but think it should be zero.

New Poll: Should we enact the 0% cap hit penalty for dropping a 1 year player after our trade dealine immediately?
LEAGUE VOTED 12 (0%) - 2 (50%) -- NEW POLL
"There will be a 0% hit on cap for the following year if a one-year player is dropped after our trading deadline.
There will still be a 25% cap hit if a 2+ year player is dropped post-deadline."
