This will be the place to post your rosters and thoughts for our first week teams! For reference, Friday 1 means May 1st, 2020. I will try to edit this post and make the Team of the day today in bold for each day, but always go by the numbers!
It's all for fun, and don't feel like if you miss one, you can't do another. I hope everyone is doing well as we prepare for whatever baseball may bring in 2020!

Notes: This was a lot of fun, believe it or not  . Benching Gary Sheffield was hard, but Giancarlo made me! First Base, where my other choices were Derek Lee and Mike Jacobs, would have been their weakest hitter if not for Delgado. (Here's to you, Gaby Sanchez lol). Bullpen options for all teams I now imagine will be plentiful, as they were for the Marlins. I went mostly for volume of saves in their Marlins career as a deciding factor. If you'd like, please join me in taking a stroll down Marlins Lane 
*I will be trying to stick to the timeframe 2006-present for my own teams. I may drift back a bit if it is a player I know though, like Delgado, Conine, or Jones.

Notes: Another fun team. The Reds that I have known are certainly more of a bash brothers kind of team than a multiple aces team. After Castillo as the Ace (which I only put him ahead of Cueto at the last moment) the options seemed like good, not great guys with longer tenures. Instead of guys who I think may be more talented but were only a Red for a short time, like Sonny Gray and Trevor Bauer, I went with the workhorses or Harang and Arroyo.

I would add Randy Myers and Norm Charlton if Dibble is there. They have to go together. Also Tom Seaver had a cy season in the spit season of 81 plus awesome 77 and 79 seasons and no Tony Perez? Shame on you Jhonny. Haha plus an Adam Dunn wouldn't hurt either.

Notes: Due to the Giants run of success from 2010-2016 and relative lack of success from 2006-2009 and 2016-present, most of the positions were taken care of by default, but I really struggled with the bench players. Their rotation and bullpen both were points of strength, as you would expect from a 3x Championship team. I could have chosen someone else like Mark Melancon, or Javier Lopez for the swingman role, but since Petit actually occupied that role (if my memory serves) I went with him. Yes, I would take vintage CYA Tim "The Freak" Lincecum over Mason Saunders!
